February Doodles 2012 Update

February 26, 2012

Got a bunch of of old sketches up over here.

This is dedicated to the slew of films out in 3D, not designed for 3D (and some that were) most of which are rubbish films in and of themselves, that are marketed with the 3D factor. ‘If we make it 3D they might not notice that it’s poo.’ It’s a shame because I want to see more amazing films in 3D!

And this is just silly (notice the deliberate mispelling of ‘tingling’).

One of the perks of doing research on Batman for my dissertation is the cool stuff I stumble upon.

taken from http://www.thisisnotporn.net/

(thisisnotporn is a cool site that has some great candid photographs of famous people).

..And the plain bizarre:

A cap and mullet are no sustitute for a cape and cowl. And why is there a spiderman midget in the mix?

Words escape me.

Ok, so silly videos are a guilty pleasure of mine.

Here’s one I found a short while back and have been itching to share.

I love the little disco bada-bum bada-bum things they have in the catchy opening music that’s half the fun right there.

The other half is the great story behind why this was made and why spiderman has his own robot (as if he’d need one – pah!).

Marvel made a deal with Toei that meant for 4 years they could do whatever the sam hell they wanted to with him. Bloody genius is what it is. There need to be more giant robots on tv, it’s something that I find programmes distinctly lack these days. We live in dark times indeed.
